As it was in JESUS' day, so it is today, men have their own opinion as to who JESUS really is. Peter's answer was profound and true.

"You are the CHRIST, the Son of the Living GOD". Following the resurrection of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, JESUS had another question for him, "Peter, do you love ME?"  His answer, "LORD, YOU know all things, YOU know I love You". Thomas, another disciple, also had an encounter with JESUS in John 20 when he saw the nail scarred hands of the risen SAVIOR and the raw torn flesh of His side. Thomas' cry tells it all, "My LORD and My GOD".

Many years later, by GOD'S grace I also had an encounter with this same JESUS. In the words of Peter and Thomas, "LORD YOU know all things, YOU know I love YOU.. my LORD and my GOD". To their words I am enclosing the words of Phil Kerr as they also express my conviction.
